Sister Pat

Day Center Director

Sister Pat is a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth. She is originally from Shelby, Montana. Where she lived on the homestead of her paternal grandparents thus cultivating her interest in gardening! Sister Pat graduated from St Mary University and her graduate and post graduate degrees are in elementary education. Sister Pat has taught in several states. Sister Pat has spread her heart and skill sets over many things to include emergency assistance and homeless case management with Catholic Charities as well as diversion for juveniles in the court system in KCK. She has worked with adults and teens in 3 different maternity homes. One was for homeless women in Washington D C. Sister Pat also did teacher training for 5 years in South Sudan with an organization called Solidarity with South Sudan. Besides gardening she is an avid reader and likes to spend her creative time to do embroidery.
